About Mark
On the 23rd of April 2019 Mark Worthington, a dear friend and loving family man passed away from a sudden heart attack, aged just 52.
One of the most generous-hearted and energetic people we know, Mark was passionate about helping young people get a start in life. He not only helped develop educational and training opportunities for them through his involvement with Hyde Football academy, but also kick-started many careers at his hotels in Mallorca, through his internship scheme and his employment of ambitious young people.
Messages have poured in from all round the world, and his family have been truly moved by how many people wished to pay tribute to Mark’s generosity and unfailing support. As a result, his wife Helen, and children Dan and Ella would dearly love to continue his legacy by setting up the Mark Worthington Foundation to carry on his work with young people.
